Today, myself and Skye have carried out research into both independent and major film institutions in order to determine which film studios would best fit our film.

The institution that we decided to do more research about was Twisted Pictures, this is due to the fact that they only create films of the horror genre.
Twisted Pictures was founded in 2004 by the conglomerate company, Evolution Entertainment and they are best known for The Saw Series. In 2004, the major company Lionsgate also agreed to a nine-picture distribution deal with them.

The institution we have done the most research on is Lionsgate. This is because they collaborated with Twisted Pictures when creating films such as Texas chainsaw and the Saw franchise.
Lionsgate, also known as Lions Gate Entertainment Corp, is an American Entertainment and Media company who were founded in 1997. The Lionsgate Films Division generated the seventh-highest gross revenue in North America in 2015. It is also the owner of many subsidiaries such as the American film production company Summit Entertainment.
